From Miami... to the heart of Tuscany
What could possibly inspire a couple from Miami to fly all the way to Arezzo for their wedding?
Tuscany has become one of the world's top destinations for international weddings, and it's easy to understand why. It offers peace, breathtaking landscapes, incredible food, exceptional wine and olive oil, and the chance for guests to slow down and truly enjoy time together. Many couples choose to rent an exclusive villa where all of their family and friends can stay, creating an intimate atmosphere that feels more like a private holiday than a traditional wedding.
This is what makes destination weddings so special. They're no longer just about a single wedding day—they become wedding days. Guests spend several days together, sharing dinners, poolside afternoons, wine tastings, and unforgettable moments before and after the celebration itself. It's an experience that creates memories far beyond the ceremony.
From my perspective as a bridal makeup & hair artist, being part of these weddings is something I never take for granted. It is incredibly rewarding to know that couples who live thousands of miles away choose to trust me for one of the most important days of their lives. Most of them discover my work through photographs, reviews, Instagram, or recommendations online, long before we ever meet in person.
The trust doesn't happen overnight. It's built over the months leading up to the wedding through emails, inspiration photos, questions, questionnaires, beauty timelines, preparation guides, and all the little conversations we have along the way. By the time the wedding day arrives, it rarely feels like I'm meeting a stranger. Instead, it feels like I'm welcoming someone I've already had the pleasure of getting to know.
For me, every wedding feels like a little journey. I get to meet people from all over the world, hear their stories, discover different traditions, and work in some of the most beautiful places in Tuscany.
Every time I drive home after a wedding, I think about how lucky I am to do the job I've always dreamed of.
